Samanta Tīna

Samanta Poļakova, beruflich bekannt als Samanta Tīna ist eine lettische Sängerin. Sie wurde 2010 bekannt, als sie die lettische Talentshow O!Kartes akadēmija gewann und die Chance erhielt, an einer Musikakademie in London zu studieren. Ein Jahr später gewann sie den moldauischen Pokal beim Wettbewerb Goldene Stimmen in Moldawien und anschließend den 2. Preis beim Slavianski Bazaar 2012.

Sie nahm an der dritten Staffel der litauischen Version von The Voice teil und verpasste nur die letzten vier.

Sie hat mehrmals versucht, sowohl Lettland als auch Litauen beim Eurovisionswettbewerb zu vertreten. Bei ihrem sechsten Versuch (und dem vierten in einer lettischen Auswahl) gewann sie die Supernova 2020 und wird Lettland beim Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam mit dem Song Still Breathing vertreten.

Still Breathing wird der lettische Beitrag zum Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam sein, aufgeführt von Samanta Tīna. Er wird im zweiten Halbfinale aufgeführt.
